I am a big fan of luggage that tries to give you extra space and that two inches of expansion really do come in handy. While this bag isn’t built to be thrown off buildings, in reality none of them are, it does work great for anyone who is into long distance traveling. I like to think of bags being different as far as some are better suited for the person who is trying to make an overnight trip for a business meeting, some are for people who are traveling to a place on vacation that they will be staying for a while, and some are better for people who will be traveling to several places, maybe a tour in Europe or something.
To me this bag fits that kind of traveler the best because it is built for maximum capacity, easy use when trying to get through airport lines, an overall functionality. What also surprised me was how the pockets and storage compartments, when full, did not take away a lot of the room that was in the main compartment. Some bags that have storage compartments and pockets actually do not hold what they promise to hold in the main area when these pockets are full. So if you are figuring on having plenty of space in the main storage area, you better not plan on having too much in the pockets.
